Every person has a purpose,
though it may be hard to see.
Not everyone will be just like you
or just like me.
 
Not everyone likes Halloween,
but I really do.
Not everyone thinks it’s fun
when someone yells out, “BOO!”
 
The world takes all of us,
not just you and not just me.
Without each and every one of us
what a boring world it would be…
and that would make for a really boring Halloween!
 
Though some may be too bratty,
and others may be too chatty,
we must be kind to one and all
even if they drive us batty!
 
On Halloween this year,
as we enjoy dressing up as someone
or something else,
delight in being different
and be kind to one and all
….or else!
