Handcrafted Turquoise Ring
Turquoise is one of the world’s most ancient gems. More than 3,000 years ago turquoise was already being carved and used in jewelry. It has long been considered a stone that guarantees health and good fortune, as well as protection. Turquoise is strong and opaque yet soothing to the touch and healing to the eye.
This ring is very special as it was handmade by Justin, a friend of Come Together with Kindness and third generation turquoise crafter from a very small town in the desert; Socorro, NM. The ring is made of cast silver from Native Americans in Gallup, New Mexico. The turquoise was found both on North Baldy Mountain located near Magdalena, NM and a mine south of Santa Fe. The turquoise was hand ground using a mortar, sorted by size then inlaid and polished by hand.
This ring is the perfect gift to share as a token of encouragement, protection and well wishes. The ring can be worn as a midi ring, pinky ring or on a chain. No matter how the recipient wears it, may it serve as a reminder that he or she matters, is beautiful and loved.
A printed card (shown) with all of the above information is included with each ring.
Special thanks to Justin for using his time and talent to lift others. May we each follow his example and use our powers for good.
